Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this amazing Resto-Mod 1966 Biscayne! Rarely is performance associated with the Biscayne nameplate. Well, this Biscayne will change your mind. Starting as a ground-up, frame off, restoration, no corner was left untouched. The heart of this beast is a 525WHP, 6.0 LS V8 with ported and polished LS3 heads and a LS9 camshaft. This potent engine is forced fed by a LSA supercharger with modern computer management. Power is harnessed by a heavy duty, 4L80E, four-speed automatic transmission. Then sent to the 12-bolt rear end, spinning a 3.90 gear with posi-traction. With all that power, control is essential. So modern, tubular front suspension and a CPP 500 series steering box with front disk brakes and 11" rear drums ensure this big 66 Biscayne turns and stops better than it ever did in 1966. Finally, the body and interior exemplify the quality of the build with tight, ripple free flanks and great panel fitment, finished in - show quality -Luna Silver Metallic paint. Inside, an awesome contrast is achieved with torch red upholstery splashed everywhere. Everything appears fresh off the assembly line. From the analogue style, Dakota gauges to the Vintage Air AC system - with ice cold air and toasty heat. The sleeper look is ensured with a set of deep dished, steely wheels with dog dish hub caps, wrapped in fat, black walled, rubber. This car runs and drives like a dream and will slam you into the seat with ease. Make this big 525hp sleeper yours before it's too late!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
