Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa presents this 'beach runner' 1986 Chevrolet Blazer. K5 Blazers are as versatile as they come; plus darlings of the nearly anyone with an interest in off roading. This Blazer was modified into a cool casual excursion machine! First, it was lifted and enhanced with adjustable shocks and 20" black and machined, Moto Metal wheels wrapped in 35" BG Goodrich T/A K02 tires - with a matching spare in the rear. Then the body was resprayed in white with fresh grey vinyl interior and aftermarket soft-top added onto the rear. The soft top has the ability to roll-up the side and rear panels creating an open air ride while maintaining the necessary sun blocking ability of a roof. The front and rear of this bruiser is fortified with big, MOVE branded bumpers with integrated tow loops and boxed construction for rugged durability! Under the hood resides a 350ci V8 shifting a 3 speed auto which is partnered with a 2 speed transfer case for when the going gets touch and 4x4 traction is a must. However, the front hubs are manually locking, so don't forget to engage them before hitting the mud. This 86 K5 is a breeze to drive thanks to power steering and power brakes. Safety is ensured with a burly aftermarket roll cage and seat belts front and rear. The truck was blessed with AC but it no longer blows cold and the manually cranked windows keep things simple and add character. K5 blazers are amazing rides, but this one will make you a favorite of your friends when its time to strike for adventure. Load up the coolers and grab your gear, this 1986 chevy K5 Blazer is ready to go!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
