Chevrolet C20 350 V8 Crate 1972

General description : Description
This 1972 Chevy C20 Custom pickup is the kind of vehicle that gets attention from real truck people. Maybe it's the distinctive two-tone, upgraded A/C interior, or the heaver duty C20 features. In fact, all of this ensures you're looking at a classic pickup with timeless appeal.
A more recent application of the factory-correct copper and plenty of metallic element makes this look terrific every time the sunshine finds the sheetmetal. And the creamy yellow on the roof and running the full length makes for a terrific 1970s-style two-tone appearance. Plus, extras like the copper in the tailgate lettering and yellow on the upgraded cowl hood just prove this is a thoughtfully done classic. It's nicely detailed with classic elements like bright chrome bumpers and full-length side trim that separates the two-tone. There are also well-done upgrades, like the 16-inch polished wheels and clear taillights. If you're also a fan of using your vintage pickup for true truck duty, the fact that this is a long bed with a heavier duty C20 designation makes this a great choice. You even have liner paint protecting the bed, a diamond plate tool box, and a proper trailer hitch.
The two-tone continues inside with the copper returning, and now it's accented by a tasteful cream color. The bench seat shows this full package the best with a clean look and a comfy velour insert for where you sit. The dash gives you a very classic style presentation. While the Delco AM radio is there for a vintage display only, you'll be quite happy to know that this factory A/C truck is still blowing cool, though may need a charge for ice-cold air. As you slip into the driver's seat, you can see the full steering column was given an upgrade with the cool full chrome wheel looking quite bold. Plus, they also added a Sun Pro tach, because this vintage C20 is still great for hauling.
Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch crate V8. It fires up readily, idles smoothly, and runs strong. So this extra-duty C20 has the heart of a stallion. The smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission means this truck is enjoyable for far more than just hauling. Add in features like power steering, power brakes with front discs, and modern Firestone Destination A/T tires, and you have a fine cruising machine.
The sale comes with a ton of great paperwork, including the original warranty card, factory buildsheet, owner's manual, service manuals, and maintenance records. We don't get to see too many C20s anymore. So when it looks this good and is priced so right, you know this deal will be gone soon. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
