Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to present this sharp 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS. The current owner obtained this big block beast about 4 years ago and has enjoyed it since. Walking around this beaty one should notice the Garnet Red paint (code 52) with black racing stripes and offset with a black vinyl top. Before being painted the owner states that the body was acid dipped and even sprayed with 3 coats of clear coat. Adding to the curb appeal of this '69 is a Nickey Chevrolet RS/SS Replica Conversion, cowl induction hood, updated hideaway headlight components, 15" Rally wheels wrapped in white letter BF Goodrich T/A Radials, 3" Flowmaster dual exhaust peaking out of the rear, fog lights, chrome bumpers, white SS badging, chrome handles/mirror, rear spoiler, and even 427 badging. The interior features plenty of goodies that include a Hurst shifter with a white knob, 8000 RPM tach, 140 MPH speedometer, black vinyl bucket seats with console/center gauges, 427 Camaro floor mats, owners/assembly manuals included, and even woodgrain inserts. This '69 gives the mix of big block performance with some comfort driving features. Options include AM/FM/Cd player, power brakes with front disc (Delco Remy power booster/master cylinder), power steering, and even seat belts. Powering this beauty is a 427 CID Big Block V8 engine that is mated to a M22 4-speed manual Rock Crusher transmission. Pushing this power to the ground is a 12 bolt posi traction rear with 4.10 gears. The drivetrain has a bag of money thrown at it with Edelbrock aluminum heads (Performer RPM Code 6055), Edelbrock aluminum intake, MSD electronic ignition, Holley 770 CFM Street Avenger Carburetor with electric choke, aluminum radiator with dual electric Flex-a-lite fans, Hooker headers, etc. If you are looking for a bad to the bone 1st generation Camaro, this is the one.
