Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to offer this sweet 1971 Camaro Z28 for sale. This bad boy is coated in a gorgeous Hugger Orange, which is augmented by black pearl SS stripes. Under the hood is a powerful 427 CID stroker V8, which features a Dart block, AFR aluminum heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, Quick Fuel 4BBL carb, and MSD ignition. The reciprocating assembly consists of an Eagle crank/rods/pistons kit, so you know you're getting the good stuff. Coated headers handle getting the spent fossils into the 3-inch dual exhaust, which dumps just past the rear axle. Backing the 427 is a 4-speed manual transmission, which is equipped with a McLeod Dual Clutch to ensure complete transfer of all that power to the rear end, which sports a Positraction differential, 3.73:1 axle ratio gearing, and LPW Ultimate 10 support cover. A new BeCool radiator was added, and enhanced with BeCool 11-inch chrome plated high torque dual puller fans to keep the mill running in the green zone. QA1 Coilovers were installed up front, along with KYB Gas-a-Just shocks out back, and Summit Racing sway bars were added front and rear.

Inside, the black interior is in good shape, and retains much of its originality with high back synthetic leather bucket seats, seat belts, and black dash and carpeting. The driver will appreciate the new Dakota Digital dash for its improved readability and accuracy, plus the custom installation of the oil pressure and coolant temp gauges along with the shift light indicator that are tucked under the back side of the cowl hood. Drivers will also enjoy the vintage look and feel of the Hurst t-handled shifter (plus, it shifts great)! Options on this slick 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 include Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. The real fun of this '71 Z28 is under the control of your right foot: the old bumper sticker's quote "Get In, Sit Down, Shut Up, and Hold On" fits this '71 nicely. One rarely comes across these 2nd-gen F-bodies in such good condition in such great colors with the right features, so don't let this get away from you.
