Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this cool, 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This 67 Tiger is in great shape. A true example of why the GTO was called the GOAT of muscle cars. Finished in Montero Red, with minty parchment white interior and white convertible top, this sexy GTO is a real head turner. Especially as it's riding on rally II wheels wrapped in redline tires. This car takes you back to the late sixties! Under the hood is a 400ci V8 topped with a 4 bbl carb and spinning a Turbo 400 trans with his and her shifter option. This Poncho really moves, with a rush of torque and a bark appropriate of a swaggering GTO. The car drives like it's hardly been used, with no rattles and squeaks, and a surprisingly supple and smooth ride - an awesome cruiser. The chrome looks great, and the body has no signs of rust or previous accidents. A copy of the original build sheet confirms all of the options this GOAT was ordered with when new. This red swagger wagon is ready to hit the streets and will make any Pontiac fan, or collector proud!

Position in GM Hierarchy:

Variants: Offered various models and engine options, including the Trans Am, which gained fame through movies like "Smokey and the Bandit."
Pontiac Grand Prix (1962-2008):
Personal Luxury Car: Initially a full-size car, later transformed into a mid-size model, known for its blend of comfort and performance.

Impact and Legacy:
Performance Image: Pontiac carved a niche for itself by emphasizing performance, sportiness, and innovation, attracting younger and enthusiast drivers.
Marketing Success: Innovative marketing strategies and successful racing endeavors contributed to Pontiac's popularity and brand image.
Cessation of Production: Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and changes in consumer preferences, GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2010, marking the end of its legacy in the automotive industry.
