Chevrolet Corvette 350 V8 1973

General description : Description
This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette seems to offer the best of vintage and upgraded. It has its original numbers-matching V8, but it was rebuilt for added pep. Red is an iconic color, and it has been added later in life to give it a quality luster in the sunshine. So look over the full affordable package that also has been for people who love classic and driving them, too.
The '73 Stingray has a unique style. It was the debut of the color-matched front end, and there's no better way to showcase that than with a quality application of red. It's a newer application, and the nice gloss in the sunlight as the red helps to highlight all the sharp creases of the C3's body. Plus, there's extra radiance, with the Rally wheels, rocker trim, and the luggage rack. And don't forget that 1973 was the final year for the iconic chrome rear bumper package. It all makes for a good look on this Stingray, and when you get closer, items like the newer glass, new door seals, and Detroit Speed headlight units are the kinds of details that tell you this little red Corvette has been kept correctly.
Black interiors always show well against red exteriors. This one upholds the feeling with fresher items like the new seat covers, carpet, door panels, and dash pad. So this one looks great with the T-tops out and open to the world. There are other nice features, like power windows and the upgraded AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette. There are even provisions for air conditioning (will need servicing to fully function again.) And the moment you grab the three-spoke sports steering wheel, you know you're at the helm of a true driver's machine.
The motor has the classic Corvette look with the finned valve covers with racing flags, and this is even the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. But this was also given a proper rebuild later in life. Now it has the tone of an eager powerhouse with a mild cam. Plus, there are upgrades like a Holley Commander intake, MSD distributor, and a nice set of headers that feed the newer dual exhaust. The TH400 is a stout unit that can handle a powerful motor, and it was even rebuilt with a small stall to keep you in a better powerband. More than just powerful, the C3 also knows how to take the corners. With the fully independent sports suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes, this classic is an awesome all-around driving package.
This upgraded but vintage Stingray has the distinction, features, and the price you want. So don't let it slip away. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
