1978 Chevrolet Nova If you like going fast and want to do it in style then come take a ride in this very cool 1978 Chevrolet Nova. After originally being called a Chevy II from 1962 through 1968 the Novas became the official name in 1969. They continued to be manufactured until 1 year after this car was made when the Nova name was dropped in 79 until returning again in the late 80's. The 78 you see here is a good car that is being offered up at a very reasonable price. The exterior is coated in fresh red paint and up front is an aftermarket fiberglass hood with 6 inch tunnel ram scoop. All of the window glass is in good shape and has a slight tint. The headlights, turn signals, running lights, brake lights, etc are all there working properly. New 215x15 tires were just added to the car with new wheels and baby moon hubcaps. Getting those tires spinning is the 383 high performance racing motor backed by a high performance Turbo 350 that was rebuilt to handle the horse power. It has been built up with a lot of aftermarket performance parts which you can see listed below. The interior of the car is complete in Black and Red vinyl with dual high back bucket seats up front. The headliner was just replaced and new sun visors added. A B&M Pro Stick shifter is mounted to the floor and moves through the gears with ease. A lot of the original dash components are there but a separate gauge pod and Autogage tachometer with shift light have been installed. The original steering wheel has also been replaced with a blacked out Grant GT wheel. SOLD-PLEASE CHECK OUT OUT OTHER CARS!!
