General description : 1955 Chevrolet Custom Pickup The legendary 502ci in a 1955 Chevy Truck is perfection with an attitude. The Right combination of style and performance. One of America's most loved trucks is the iconic 1955 Chevrolet. For 1955 an all-new series a bigger, stronger, and sleeker than ever before. The '55 was the first year for the V8, a 12-volt system, wrap around windshield, power steering and power brakes. 1955 was also the only year for the 7-foot-long-bed. Prominent display at any car show or cruise-in is a gloss black 1955 Chevy Custom truck. The mirror black has 5 coats of clear. The paint looks so deep it appears wet. This beauty has only 490 miles on the build. The frame-off custom build start with the frame painted in red with a Camaro front clip. The ride is thanks to coil over shocks front and rear, and a 4-link in the back. Stopping power is thanks to four-wheel disc brakes. The body gaps are near perfect. A custom modified and welded bed with fin. This unbelievable '55 has 502 Stroker engine built and dyno by Skip White is rated over 500+ HP. The growl is from Patriot silver ceramic coated headers and 2.5" dual exhaust exit as a side dump. The Stroker is fully dressed and is show ready. Mated to a built Street Avenger 350 automatic TCI transmission with a 2400 stall torque converter. Power to the ground thanks to Posi Traction 370 10 bolt. To keep things cool under any driving condition a "Large Be Cool" aluminum radiator and twin electric fans. Fully polished fan housing that match the radiator perfectly. The firewall is a smooth one piece. All the wiring has been hidden. Only the highest standards on this build. Full leather interior, doors, headliner, and twin custom bucket seats. The drivers bucket seat is fully power adjustable. A chrome Ididit tilt steering column with a Grant steering wheel. The tachometer and a Kenwood stereo are in center console. The B&M shifter has the perfect look. The classic style has been kept with all Auto Meter gauges. Riding on 20" chrome wheels give the aggressive stance.
