This 1940 Chevrolet Coupe is a high end, frame off build of a steel body car. Every nut and bolt was gone through during this custom build. Extensive body modifications were made to this Chevy. The body is Steel with a fiberglass hood and rear fenders that have been fitted to accommodate wider rear tires. It is a Multi-Best of Show Winner, and won Best Custom Paint Award at Frankenmuth Autofest, with over 3600 entries in 2017. The Chevrolet emblems are airbrushed and the body work and paint alone cost over $20,000. Under the hood sits a Chevrolet 427ci Big Block V8 connected to a B&M TH350 automatic transmission with a 2800 stall & mild shift kit, and a Ford 9 Inch Eaton Posi Rear End. Everything under hood is chrome or Billet and highly detailed. Some nice upgrades include Vintage heat/air, power windows, Idit tilt steering column with custom rosewood steering wheel, remote entry, stereo with 6 speakers, center console (front to back) with Lokar shifter, custom interior, one-off handmade dash with full VDO gauges, full window glass, 1939 Ford headlights molded into fenders, hide-away license plate, master shut-off SW, fuel drain tap, all new EZ wiring and more. Rear suspension is adjustable 4 link with adjustable pan-hard bar with Viking coil overs. Brakes are 4-Wheel Wilwood 4 piston, slotted and cross- drilled rotors, with Goodridge Kevlar brake lines. Only the best of parts was used on this build. Underneath is finished as clean as top with boxed frame. This Chevy Street Rod is a show stopper and here is your chance to make it yours!
