Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville Tennessee is very proud to digitally present this stunning 1933 Ford 3-Window coupe. This is not your average bear, with all the love and attention that a car could want this machine has all the goodies. To get this going let's start with the power plant, how about a stout General Motors 355CID V8 that is topped with polished Borla stack fuel injection system! This give you snappy throttle response without the need to keep pumping the gas pedal 500 times to get her to fire up, all that is needed is the soft twist of the wrist and flip that ignition to the right and this machine will fire up like a dragon on the hunt. Backing this power-plant is a built General Motors TH700R4 automatic shift, four-speed overdrive, longitudinally positioned transmission. It is now considered to be one of the finest overdrive automatic transmissions ever produced" yes I googled that" and I am happy I did because you should know what you are getting into. The Downs built Fiberglass body of this 1933 Ford 3-Window coupe has been glazed in a deep and dark gloss black paint that looks as if it's about to drip off the car. There is so much to talk about on this car it's a blast, lets climb into the cabin and one thing you will notice is the massive amount of leg room and there is common theme running along inside. Matching gauges from one door to the other that are aesthetically placed with the larger gauges in the center with the Air Conditioning vents on each side. Keeping it clean and tight the builder even went as far as to keep the door panels clean and put the door latch handles in the kick panels. I love the clean look and it will keep you in the habit of reaching down to open as well as lock the suicide door pins. Get ready to hit the roads with peace of mind as this car is packing the latest in gadgets, for example this 33' has a new “UniSteer" rack and pinion steering that is topped with electric power steering! How about all of the options you ask? Well this 1933 Ford 3-window coupe includes: Ice cold Air-conditioning and heat to back it up on the late night ride home, lumbar support for comfort, 4-wheel power disc brakes, Power steering ‘mentioned", Power locks with safety pins, AM/FM/Satellite radio, Power windows, tilt steering Colum, plush leather seating that has a sexy grey and white theme and performance radial tires that wrapped around aluminum alloy racing wheels. This is all being ran to the ground via posi traction as well. About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
