Ford F-100 390 V8 1967

General description : 1967 Ford F100 Pickup This classic 1967 Ford F100 has a great look and was just completely redone.  It has a long list of new components and was taken all the way down to bare metal.  The Frost Turquoise and Wimbledon White color combo gives it a nostalgic look and is the factory original colors.  It was redone in a single stage paint and has a slick finish.  The front grill and bumper were painted Black for a nice custom touch and look great.  The rear bumper is brand new and features the built in backup lights.  All of the glass is tinted and in good shape with no issues.  The inside of the bed is painted Turquoise to match the body and is just as clean.  The floor pans were replaced and everything is solid with no bad rust issues.  It has all new door seals and the doors close properly.  The truck rides on new Star cast aluminum polished wheels which are wrapped with brand new 30x9.5x15 tires.  The truck was built to be a reliable driver and runs extremely well.  It has the factory block but was bored out and built up to 390 c.i.  It is mated to a C6 heavy duty transmission which features extra clutches, a heavy duty shift kit and 2 transmission coolers to improve the shifting and increase the performance when towing.  The entire drivetrain and suspension system was gone through with practically everything getting replaced.  Check out the table below to get an idea of all the new components.  We are sure we left some things out but this should give you an idea of how complete the rebuild was.  The interior is all brand new as well including the carpet.  It is done in a Turquoise and White color and the upholstery is in excellent shape.  Insulation was added under the new headliner to help regulate the temperature of the cab.  The bench seat is new and and aftermarket seat belts with shoulder straps have been added.  The original gauges are in place on the dash but not all of them are connected.  Aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, temperature and voltage have been added.  The original fuel gauge is working and is accurate thanks to the new fuel tank with new sending unit.  The original radio is not currently working but has been left in place on the dash.  A second Toyota AM/FM/CD player was added inside of the custom console.    This pickup runs great and with all the new components will continue to run great for many years.  This is a steal at the reduced price of only $21,500.00!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
