DON'T LET THIS OPPORTUNITY PASS YOU BY!!!!!!
Just Toys Classic Cars is very proud to present this 1973 Ford Maverick Shelby Tribute. I know what you are saying, Shelby never did a maverick in the U.S. You would be correct. Carroll Shelby partnered up with a business man in Mexico by the name of Eduardo Velasques. Velasques was a Shelby parts dealer in Mexico and the name was Shelby De Mexico. You could buy parts for Mustangs, Galaxie's, and yes Maverick's. This car is a tribute to Carroll and the type of things you could have gotten down there. This car was built about 10 years ago and only has a few thousand miles on it since it was built. This is just a really cool car that you are not going to see a 100 of at your local car show or cruise night. The Gunmetal Gray Paint and Silver stripes are in great shape and as you see in the pics shines like there is no tomorrow. This is a great culmination of Shelby's creations put in to this car.
So, now that we gave you a little bit of a history lesson, lets talk about the interior of this cool ride. Once you open the driver door, you are going to see that the great fit and finish just carries forward. The door panels are in great shape, and you do not see any rust in any of the jams anywhere. Again, this is a very well put together car. The cloth seats appear to be out of the fox body era of the Mustang and you will not see any rips or tears in them. There has been a center console installed as well that fits like a glove around the Hurst shifter. Safety is always a key, and you will see 4 point harnesses on the front as well as the back seats. You can play all of your favorite tunes through the AM/FM/CD player that has been installed and they will sound awesome going down the road. You should be itching by now to reach forward and give that ignition key a turn, so what do you say, shall we?
You give the gas a pump and hit that key and you listen to that 302 under the hood come to life and that instant, child like, ear to ear grin comes over your face as you give it a couple of revs. That sweet sound is coming through a dual exhaust with Hedman headers and FlowMaster mufflers out back. You will see an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and a 600 CFM Edelbrock carb sitting on top of this motor and Shelby valve covers to dress out the look. All of this power is mated to a C4 automatic transmission and that all goes out to a Ford 8" rear end with 2.73 gears. That means that you can have all the fun in the world with this car, and you will probably never see the top end of this motor. The best of all worlds, fuel economy and fun all at the same time.
There has been attention paid to the underside of this car as well. As you will see in the undercarriage pics, this is a very solid car underneath. The brakes are manual, but they have been upgraded to Torino 11" disc in the front and the rear. Everything was rebuilt underneath with the suspension as well so it is a very good driving car as well.
Again, we just not express enough how much fun, and how cool this car is. Stand out in a crowd with this car and get ready to talk to a bunch of people about it, because it will get a ton of attention wherever it goes. We offer classic car financing for those that would like to take advantage of the option. They offer great rates and terms with as little as 10% down and no prepayment penalties. This is a great way to get the car of your dreams and not have to take all of your cash out of the bank at once. We look forward to speaking with you soon, and we look forward to making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
