Lincoln Continental 5.0L V8 2BL 1981

General description : Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this 1981 Lincoln Mark VI. The Continental Mark VI is based on the Ford Panther platform, shared with the Lincoln Town Car and other Ford Motor Company full-size cars of the 1980s into the late 2000s in North America. The Mark VI is rear-wheel drive with body-on-frame construction; it is fitted with coil-spring suspension on all four wheels. This Mark VI features a 5.0L 302 CID V8 that is paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The exterior siler metallic paint is in fantastic condition and shows extremely well. So well in fact that the car has won numerous 1st place awards & best in show trophies at many Texas Regional Meet shows. The burgundy leather interior is also in great condition with plenty of comfort features. The owner has had all scheduled maintenance done on the car and it has always been garage kept during his possession the last 10 years. The car also features a working 8-track player & CB radio! This is an excellent example of what a car can look at almost 40 years later if you take good care of them! The owner has recently replaced the catalytic converters & tail pipes, a new battery, & a new fuel pump. Everything on this car works! The car will come with the original owners manual and the rare & special Wood tone keys & key ring that was issued with all signature series. This car has stayed within the same Lincoln enthusiasts car club for the last couple of decades.
