Castle Sports Cars are delighted to bring this very well sorted Lotus Elise S2 111S to the market. Being the 111S variant this Elise is fitted with the VVC Rover engine which produces a healthy 160HP at 7,200 RPM.
This particular vehicle left the showroom in June 2003 and has been in long term ownership with the current keeper since April 2015. A true Lotus enthusiast the previous keeper maintained the car to a very fastidious standard along with making several small upgrades to improve the driving experience of the car.
Although the mileage on this vehicle is slightly higher than others at 76,000 the strict service regime and regular maintenance completed has ensured that this Elise still drives just as good as it looks. This car must be viewed to be appreciated. This Elise has a healthy history file documenting the cars entire life from MOT certificates to maintenance invoices. In July 2020 the car received a major service including cambelt, tensioner and water pump. The car has since been fully inspected by our trained technicians and will be serviced again by us upon sale. The car has also received a new and revised head gasket, at this time the head was machined before re-assembly.
Throughout this Elise’s life a variety of upgrades have been completed to sympathetically improve the vehicle. An aluminium radiator and all new fans have been fitted to ensure the car maintains running temperature perfectly. Two-way adjustable GAZ suspension has been fitted along with a hurricane induction kit. Two-piece discs have also been added to this Elise to ensure it stops as well as it goes.
This 111S is finished in one of the most popular and rare colours metallic Magnetic Blue. The bodywork presents very with only the smallest of age related defects. The wheels are finished in a dark shadow chrome and are presented unmarked. The interior is finished in black leather with radio and speakers, full carpets, sound insulation and electric windows.
