For sale in out Fort Lauderdale Showroom is this beautiful 1965 Mercury Comet. This is one of the nicest ’65 Comets we have seen at Gateway Classic Cars in a while. It’s not a secret that there are only a few 1965 Comet’s out there for sale. This is a rare car and finding one in this condition isn’t easy at all. We are very happy to have this one in our Fort Lauderdale showroom. A lot of work was put in the car to bring it to the level it is in right now. The engine is a fresh crate 302ci V8 that is ready to rock n’roll. It is a lot of fun to drive the Mercury. Shifted by a rebuild Ford AOD transmission this car won’t let you down. Also the front and rear end were rebuilt. The body is straight and the gaps are lining up great. Paint and interior are just clean and in very good condition. This Comet is 51 years old and it is in better shape than some 5 year old cars. Everything works besides the radio. When this Comet shows up with its double headlights on top, people will see something special in their rear view mirror. The Mercury is ready for new adventures and if you take good care of the car it will go another 50 years with ease. A great investment with fun guaranteed.
