Gorgeous 1972 Plymouth Road Runner Coupe New to our Benicia showroom is this gorgeous 1972 Plymouth Road Runner 2 Door Coupe with Limelight Green exterior paint and a beautiful black and white custom leather interior. This one started life out as a high optioned Satellite so it’s technically a Roadrunner clone, but you’d never know it by the way the 440 CI V-8 engine roars to life. It also has a 727 automatic transmission, a mild cam, power steering, power front disc brakes, factory A/C (not hooked up), a great stereo system and power locks/trunk release. You’ll also love the aggressive stance from the rally wheels with big tires on the back. Completely Restored in Recent Years to a Very High Level The current owner of this 1972 Plymouth Road Runner purchased it a few years ago after it was already restored to its current level of awesomeness. It has a very strong running V-8 with a healthy cam as well so when you step on the gas, this one roars to life and responds quite nicely. This example is an excellent performer with smooth handling and a very nice feel on the open road, and we noticed that people were stopping and staring throughout our test drive. In terms of actual condition, the only real negatives we saw were a few very minor chips in the paint. Otherwise, this one is extremely well kept throughout and shows like a high-end muscle car. The dual-colored interior really makes it pop and the beautiful body/chrome work takes this one to the next level. It’s a beautiful vehicle that you’d be proud to show off anywhere and at the current asking price, it should find a new home quickly. Priced to Find a New Home Quickly Overall, this 1972 Plymouth Road Runner is in tremendous condition and it performs like a true muscle car of generations past. So if you’re looking for a nicely restored example with excellent curb appeal and awesome performance, then you absolutely must come test drive this beauty to see how nice it is at the current asking price.
