Highly Desirable 1962 Plymouth Savoy 4 Door Station Wagon with 413 Max Wedge engine!
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this beautifully cared for 1962 Plymouth Savoy 4 Door Station Wagon with white exterior paint and a blue vinyl interior.  You’ll find a “Superstock” 413 cid V-8 Max- Wedge engine under the hood that’s bored .060 over to 426 cid, plus dual Carter 525 cfm four-barrel carburetors, a 727 automatic transmission with a 3800 stall converter, an 8.75” rear axle, front disc brakes and too many other factory upgrades to fully list.  The period correct motor has a mere 120 total miles on it since being rebuilt and this classic muscle car really gets down the road in a hurry. The wagon originally had the straight 6 cylinder before being upgraded to the Max Wedge.
Featured in May 2000 High Performance MOPAR Magazine
If this sensational muscle car looks familiar, that’s because it was featured in High Performance MOPAR magazine back in May of 2000.  The numbers for the wedge block, rods, heads, the cross ram, carburetors and the exhaust manifolds all appear to be period correct and this classic really stands out from similar examples.  With show quality paint and a truly flawless exterior body, this example quickly catches your attention and holds it.  The interior shows minor levels of wear from frequent trips to local car shows but definitely nothing that takes away from this one overall.
Additionally, this 1962 Plymouth Savoy 4 Door Station Wagon drives like a brand new classic on the open road with excellent acceleration and a commanding overall feel.  The suspension is perfect for this model and the upgraded front disc brakes are a welcome addition to an otherwise highly original classic.  With a massive rear wagon area for storage, this could easily be used by a local business to turn heads and make local deliveries in style.
413 - TWO -FOUR BARREL CARBS -  MAX-WEDGE V-8 ENGINE!
Overall, this 1962 Plymouth Savoy 4 Door Station Wagon is in incredible condition and could take “Best in Class” on many local stages.  It is the perfect example of an extensive restoration done the right way and the asking price is likely too conservative for such an amazing classic vehicle.  Come see it for yourself today!  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock #  as well.
