Concourse condition Porsche 2.4 S. Supplied by Sonauto to a Mr Rogeron of Paris, France on 22nd November 1972. This is the 1973 version of the 2.4 S of which only 1,430 were ever produced. She has her matching numbers original 2.4 S 911/53 engine with mechanical fuel injection (MFI). The updated engine, developed for the F-series, produced 190 PS (187 bhp). It came with standard fitted front spoiler, 85 l petrol tank and space-saver spare wheel. We are very pleased to be able to offer this car with a very extensive history that includes full ownership details and numerous bills from 1977 onwards. The car has clocked up a verified 126,908 km from new. Between 2014-2015 the car underwent a complete, A-Z restoration and mechanical revision. It had a complete cabin re-fit, new gearbox and a full re-wire. After this very professional restoration the car has only travelled 1,600 km! She had her crowning moment of glory featuring in the November 2015 issue of Total 911 with a Road Trip article. The bodywork is sublime, beautiful panelling and perfect panel gaps. The colour-coded chassis is mint and free from any signs of corrosion. The cabin is as new and of a very high quality level. The whole of the restoration process has been extensively photographically documented. She has factory fitted accessories such as; a ZF limited slip differential, Koni shocks, Recaro sport seats in Pepita with black leather, electric windows and Yellow Cibie Pallas driving lights. She has been thoroughly certified by Porsche, a ‘Gesamtzustand-1’ (concourse condition) by Classic Data and has a category A3 FIVA Passport. A lovely original ‘Hellelfenbein 131/1111’, fully documented concourse edition 911 2.4 S!

The early Porsche 911 long wheelbase models, also known as the "L" models, were produced from 1968 to 1973. They were named so because of their longer wheelbase, which increased by 2.4 inches from the previous models. The longer wheelbase provided a smoother and more stable ride, and also allowed for more interior space.
The long wheelbase models were powered by air-cooled, flat-six engines, with displacement ranging from 2.0L to 2.4L. They were available in coupe and Targa body styles, and were equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. Notable features of the long wheelbase 911s include their distinctive "ducktail" rear spoiler and Fuchs alloy wheels.
These early 911s are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts, pure as swb cars but easier to drive and handling better.
