Rover SD1 (2000/2300/2400/2600/3500/Vitesse) 1983

General description : Normalerweise investiert niemand großes Geld in einen Rover aus den achtziger Jahren. Hier war es anders. Das Fahrzeug wurde 2013 von dem ehemaligen Roverhändler Haupt in Strehla aus Leidenschaft für diese seltenen Automobile umfangreich überholt. Das Fahrzeug wurde zerlegt, sorgfältig überarbeitet und bekam eine neue Komplettlackierung. Der Motor wurde überholt, mit neuen Kolben versehen, die Köpfe geplant, die Ventile neu eingeschliffen, etc. Es wurden etliche Teile, darunter auch die Leichtmetallfelgen durch Neuteile ersetzt und das Resultat ist entsprechend. Der Motor startet auf den ersten Zündschlüsselkontakt und läuft seidenweich. Lediglich die gut erhaltene Innenausstattung ist noch die erste. Seit der umfangrieichen Überholung hat der Rover noch keine 8.000 km zurückgelegt.

Für Individualisten und echte Klassikerfans, deren automobiler Horizont weiter als von Porsche bis Mercedes reicht, biete sich hier die Gelegenheit auf einen der wenigen richtig guten Rover SD1 zugreifen zu können. Noch dazu mit dem Rover 3500 V8 und in der Luxusausführung Vanden Plas.
