Ford 3-Window Coupe 350 cubic inch V8 1932

Allgemeine Beschreibung : Nicely built traditional 3-window coupe. Fiberglass body, Pete & Jake’s frame, 350 Chevy, 700R4, 4-wheel disc brakes, and more. Beautiful custom interior with all the amenities including cold A/C. Fully sorted Ford 3-window coupe built just the way you’d do it yourself.

The thing with street rods like this is that everyone seems to want to build their own. That doesn’t make financial sense, because you’re going to build something virtually identical anyway, and it’ll cost you three or four times as much as simply buying this nicely finished 1932 Ford coupe. Finished a few years ago, it shows just 6945 miles on the build, so it’s still quite fresh. The body is an Atlanta Street Rods fiberglass piece with a 3-inch chop and suicide doors, so it has that distinctive 3-window look. Finish quality is excellent, with a deep gloss to the paint and we always prefer our rods with full fenders, so this one is really appealing. There are no graphics or excessive pinstripes to date the car, so it’ll look awesome for years to come and just about everybody loves a nasty black ’32. There’s a 3-piece steel hood (hood sides are included with the car), a chrome spreader bar, and commercial headlights, all of which give it a traditional look. We like the fact that they used real door handles rather than unreliable poppers, and the strips of aluminum on the running boards are a great touch. The stance is hot rod perfect and we can’t find an angle from which this car doesn’t look fantastic. This is already the car you’ve always wanted to build.

The beautifully finished interior features custom tan leather throughout, including beautifully finished door panels with billet accents, a pair of super comfortable sport seats with harnesses (a full matching bench seat is also included with the car), and full carpeting throughout. A polished tilt column makes it easy to get in and out, and is topped by a billet steering wheel finished with matching tan leather. It also features a custom center consolette with a Lokar shifter and upholstered lower dash with a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/MP3 head unit and outlets for the Vintage Air A/C system. Gauges are from Classic Instruments and have a beautiful art-deco look that suits the ’32 just fine. Thoughtful touches include the light-up indicator on the base of the shifter, a custom leather boot, and a fully finished headliner that makes this rod seem more polished than many of its competitors. In back, the trunk lid is electrically actuated and the trunk itself is big enough for a weekend’s worth of gear. The 10-gallon fuel cell is cleverly stashed behind a removable bulkhead, along with a lot of the behind-the-scenes wiring.

Mechanically, this rod breaks no new ground, but that means it’s bulletproof reliable and easy to maintain. The engine is a 350 cubic inch GM crate motor rated at 300 horsepower, and it’s topped by a familiar 4-barrel carburetor and HEI distributor. There’s a lot of chrome and polished aluminum showing through the open hood sides, and packaging is excellent—it’s not so easy to get all those accessories under the narrow hood! There’s a big aluminum radiator up front, complete with electric fans, as well as a billet master cylinder for the 4-wheel disc brakes. Block-hugger headers feed a custom exhaust system with stainless mufflers that sounds spectacular, particularly at speed. The front suspension is a traditional Superbell chrome dropped I-beam while the rear is a Ford 9-inch full of 3.50 gears on trailing arms with coil-overs. In between there’s a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, so this is a fantastic long-haul flyer that just eats up the pavement. The frame itself is from Pete & Jake, so you know it’s right, and it’s been driven enough to ensure that it’s fully sorted and ready to rock. That raked stance is picture-perfect for a Deuce coupe, and it comes compliments of 15- and 17-inch Torque Thrusts and staggered 195/60/15 front and 275/60/17 rear Goodyear radials.

Extras include a finished set of louvered hood sides, a front bench seat frame, and custom cushions upholstered to match the interior.

Admit it, this is the car you would build if you had unlimited time and resources. It’s got the right parts, the right look, and it’s fully sorted so you can start having fun immediately. Why build when something this cool is available for a fraction of the price, ready to rock? Call today!
