1937 | ALVIS 12/70 | SPECIAL KOMPRESSOR BOATTAIL
Der Alvis 12/70 wurde in verschiedenen Karosserie-Varianten gebaut, so als Limousine oder auch – wie das hier angebotene Fahrzeug – als Boattail, der auch zur Mille Miglia’ zugelassen ist. Der Motor des Alvis 12/70, mit oben liegender Nockenwelle, wurde auch in vielen späteren Alvis-Fahrzeugen eingesetzt, u. a. in den Silver-Eagle-Modelle’.
Das von uns angebotene Fahrzeug errang mit Dennis Hawkins / England, zahlreiche Siege in Goodwood, Silverstone und Oulton-Park.
