Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this gorgeous 1968 Javelin SST. Go to your local car show and you'll see a wide variety of Corvettes, Camaro's, and Mustangs. More than likely, you won't see another AMC Javelin. The Javelin was made famous by the SCCA Trans Am racing series of the late 1960's where it was referred to as the, 'Cinderella car of the 1968 Trans Am racing circuit.' This particular Javelin SST, or Super Sports Touring package, is one exceptionally clean and well taken care of ride. The seller believes the car could be a one respray survivor with actual low mileage. The correct factory Turbo Silver paint on the car joined with the vinyl top is striking. One things for sure, it is an impressive piece of American Motors Corporation history and Javelins in this condition do not come up for sale often so race over to our Tampa showroom while you still have time!
