Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this burly blue and white 1989 Chevrolet V10 Blazer. While most may think of the Blazer as a "K5", for 5 model years, beginning in 1987, GM switched from their normal naming convention of using a "K" for 4X4 trucks and "C" for 2WD versions, to using a "V" for 4X4 variants, and "R" for 2WD trucks. So, that means this V10 Blazer is equipped with 4WD (just as the "V" connotes), so it's ready to take you wherever your off-roading desires lead you. This 4X4 Blazer has a fuel-injected 350 CID V8 engine, backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. While mostly "stock", this V10 has been treated to a set of headers and dual exhaust, and it rides on a meaty set of 33X12.50R15LT sized B.F. Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires that have lots of tread left. What sets this one apart from most is its very utilitarian, "let's go play and get all dirty" motif. Both the removable black top and the blue body color are enhanced with a nearly indestructible coating, which is much like bedliner material; so you'll never have to worry about scraping your paint whether you're out on the "back forty" doing ranch work, off the beaten hunting path, or just in a tight space in the parking lot. The interior is also finished out with hard work and rough play in mind, with the rubberized floor covering, and the freshly recovered synthetic leather seating surfaces. The tan floor and black and tan seating provide a classy, yet functional look. Additional features and options on this Blazer include Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. Don't let hunting season creep up on you without having a solid backcountry vehicle - call our Houston Showroom now and grab this before someone else does!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
