Chevrolet Camaro L69 305 HO 1985

General description : 1985 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z If you group up in the 80s and was a fan of Camaros your eyes was undoubtedly set on the IROC-Z.  The Z/28 was already a step up from the standard Camaro but Chevrolet then offered the IROC trim level based on an idea from Penske with the ABC's Wide World of Sports.  Named after the International Race of Champions these cars had an improved chassis and different engine options as well as visual changes like spoilers and special graphics.  They were made for 6 years and the first edition was introduced in 1985.  The car you see here is one of those early editions and has been extremely well cared for since new.  It has been very well maintained and has just under 13,608 original miles.  Everything is in excellent condition throughout.  It has its original Silver paint and all of the correct original IROC-Z graphics.  All of the lights are working properly with no issues.  It rides on its original 5 spoke wheels wrapped in brand new Ventus V2 Hankook tires. Powering the car is its original L69 305 high output motor combined with a 5 speed manual transmission.  That combination is rare as it was not used in the IROC's very often.  Looking at the motor it is even more clear how well this car has been taken care of.  Everything is all original and looks like new.  The exhaust system was just completely redone and a new battery was also installed.  The car runs very well and is very fun to drive.  With those low miles combined with the rare optioned drivetrain this car not only has a ton of life left but is a nice collector level Camaro.  The power steering works like new as do the power disc brakes.    The interior is done in the two tone Gray combo to match the exterior and is in great condition.  It has dual bench seats, center console, factory tachometer, AM/FM/Cassette player, and fold down rear seats.  Everything looks just like it did from the factory and it needs nothing.  If you are a fan of the IROC this is definitely a car you are going to want to check out.  This car has been SOLD!
