Rare Fiat Dino Coupe 2400 for saleWe offer for sale this beautiful and very rare Fiat Dino Coupe 2400. In order to participate in the Formula 2 championship in the 1970s, it was necessary for Ferrari to sell 500 race-derived engines in street-legal production cars. However, at the time, Ferrari did not sell enough cars and a collaboration with Fiat was started to achieve these production numbers. This is how eventually the Ferrari Dino 206, 246 and the Fiat Dino 2000 and 2400 were born.
The Fiat Dino Coupe 2400 is the absolute top model of the Dino series and has a 180 HP powerful 2.4 liter, V6 Ferrari engine that is linked to a manual 5-speed gearbox. Only 2,398 Fiat Dino's were built at Ferrari and are therefore very rare and loved by collectors.
The Fiat that we offer for sale here comes from the private collection of an Italian classic cars enthusiast. The car is in a very neat, original condition and has been repainted once in the past. Technically the car is very well maintained and the car drives very well. What is completely unique is that the original brochure of the Dino has been preserved. This is in very good condition and contains information about the engine, the model and even has colour samples.
Red Fiat Dino Coupe 2400 for saleThe Fiat Dino Coupe 2400 that we offer for sale here is what a real Italian sports car should look like. The Coupé's graceful coach was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, who at the time worked for the Italian design house and coachbuilder Bertone. It has a beautiful red paint and stands on the original wheels. The interior is in a neat, original condition and features the well-known wooden steering wheel and dashboard with wood inlay.

About Fiat
Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (FIAT to you and I) was founded by Giovanni Agnelli in 1899. Their first car 3 ½ CV had a strong resembledence to contemporary Benz, only 25 examples were built. By 1910 Fiat had established itself as Italia's biggest car manufacturer and expanded to the US, where a new plant was built in Poughkeepsie, NY.

At that time Fiat cars were big and luxurious barges for the wealthy or barking mad racing cars like S76 , The beast of Turin, with its 290HP 28.5-liter, four-cylinder engine.

However, today Fiat is better reknown for its small symphatic peoples carriers, Topolino, 500 "Cinquecento" and 600.

What ever your favorite Fiat is, you'll find it for sale here at www.classicdigest.com
