Vintage & Prestige Classic Cars are delighted to offer this 1966 Mercedes Benz 250 SE/C Coupe LHD Manual in stunning condition throughout.
This fantastic car completed production in December 1966 at the Stuttgart factory in Germany. Some 5,259 250 SE/Coupe models were completed here before production ceased a year later in 1967.
This very sought after W111 model is equipped with the very capable 2,496 cc M129 engine. Producing 150 horsepower (110 kW) at 5500 rpm, it gave the vehicle a significant improvement in top speed, 193 km/h (120 mph) and 0–100 km/h acceleration 12 seconds. Notable changes for this model included the newly designed 14-inch rims, which came with new hub cabs and beauty rings accommodating the larger disk brakes and new rear axle from the W108 family.
The current owner purchased the car from Mercedes Benz, Stuttgart in 2003 with 138,018km on the clock.
Since then it has been subject to a full & complete ground up restoration in 2005 by specialists Eccora of the Czech Republic. The car presents itself to a very high standard and is completely rust free inside & out. Only 14,000km have been covered during the current owners tenure.
This Mercedes Benz 250 SE/C Coupe is finished in Meadow Green metallic paintwork, which is in superb condition. Testament to the previous owners care and has been dry stored & only driven on sunny days. To the interior is Bamboo leather, extending to the door cards and dashboard. The highly figured woodwork also in superb order. Beige coloured carpets with Bamboo piping complete the ensemble.
A comprehensive invoice & history file accompany the car, dating back some 35 years.
