The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1955 Oldsmobile 88 2 Door Hardtop with Teal and White two-tone exterior paint plus a matching white/teal vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 324 cubic inch  V-8 engine under the hood that’s paired to a factory 4-speed automatic transmission,  This gorgeous classic appears excellent in person as well and it is ready for the next owner to enjoy.
 Great Curb Appeal
The current owner of this 1955 Oldsmobile 88 Sedan is the third to enjoy it and he informs us that it originally sold in at Connell Oldsmobile in Oakland ,California.  He was drawn to this spectacular example due to it’s overall originality and current condition; it is an older restoration that was completed on very high levels throughout.  The exterior body, paint and chrome are all above the typical driver standard with only slight visible imperfections.  The interior is also super clean and kept stock throughout, so this classic will likely appeal to a wide variety of collectors.
Additionally, this 1955 Oldsmobile 88 2 Door Sedan offers tremendous performance- it starts easily, has solid acceleration and really feels great on the open road.  The stock engine compartment does show typical levels of wear for a high-end driver and could use light refreshing to take this classic to an entire different level.  As previously mentioned, the current owner does believe the factory-correct drivetrain is in place with “Oldsmobile Rocket” lettering on the engine block, so this is definitely a special vehicle that deserves a great new home.
