Gorgeous 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Tribute New to our Benicia showroom is this gorgeous tribute 1968 Plymouth Road Runner 2 door Hardtop with Hemi orange exterior paint and black stripes. It features a freshly rebuilt drivetrain that includes a 440 CI V-8 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission, plus it’s been accessorized with a 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust, a new A/C unit and several other upgrades as well. This classic muscle car is in very nice shape as well after recently coming off a three year bumper to bumper restoration. Complete Rotisserie Restoration over Last 36 Months The current owner of this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Tribute purchased it about ten years ago and decided to begin a complete rotisserie restoration in 2012. This included stripping the body and adding show-quality paint, plus re-chroming the bumpers, polishing the stainless and adding a completely new leather interior, new glass all the way around and new trim. Since the drivetrain was also rebuilt at this time and it saw additions like new wheels/tires, a new radiator and a new power disc brake unit, this one is in sensational condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The real treat from this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Tribute comes from the actual driving experience. Out on the open road, the 440 engine delivers excellent power to the wheels and this desirable muscle car can get moving in a hurry. While it was built to be driven and used the last three years , this was a top-notch restoration and this desirable vehicle definitely makes a loud and clear statement.
