Porsche 911 2.7 2.4S Targa 1973

General description : In 1973, this 911S Targa was taken on by its first owner. Within a month, the car was transferred to the – from a formal point of view – second owner, who, like the first one, was from California. This second owner owned the car for 43 years. Recently, he decided to sell his 911 because of his advanced age. This 2.4 S has many good points. It has outstanding driving qualities but is also in high demand by collectors. The car is fully matching. Its Geminiblue colour is the colour with which at the time it left the Porsche factory. We had the car resprayed using the best materials and techniques. The interior was repaired and renewed where necessary. To the largest possible extent, original parts where used. The mechanicals of the car were fully checked, a major service was carried out and the original air conditioning system underwent an overhaul to match the current standards. This beautiful 911S Targa has certainly not been over-restored. Indeed, attention to detail and respect for originality best describe the care this car has received, and it is now awaiting its new owner.

About Porsche 911 2.7
The Porsche 911 2.7 is a popular choice for hobbyist car enthusiasts due to its classic styling, excellent driving dynamics, and iconic status as one of the most recognizable sports cars of all time.

The 911 2.7 was produced from 1974 to 1977 and is known for its distinctive "ducktail" rear spoiler and its lightweight, agile handling. It was powered by an air-cooled, flat-six engine that produced 150-175 horsepower, depending on the model year.

For hobbyist car enthusiasts, the 911 2.7 can be a rewarding project due to its relatively simple mechanical design and the availability of aftermarket parts and upgrades. Restoring or modifying a 911 2.7 can be a challenging but rewarding experience, allowing enthusiasts to customize the car to their individual preferences and create a one-of-a-kind driving machine.

One potential drawback of the 911 2.7 as a hobbyist car is its age, which can lead to issues with rust, wear and tear, and mechanical problems. However, with proper care and maintenance, these issues can be addressed
