The Audi Quattro is a road and rally car, produced by the German automobile manufacturer Audi. The name used by Audi referred to the quattro four-wheel-drive system, or any four-wheel-drive version of an Audi model. This original Quattro model is also commonly referred to as the Ur-Quattro – the “Ur-” (German for original or “first of its kind”).

We are pleased to offer for sale a beautifully presented, low mileage, early Model Audi Ur Quattro Turbo. One of the first UK cars to be sold in the best colour of Alpine White with recent mot’s, an original radio, a wonderful history file and just 97,700 miles. This car has been lovingly maintained to the highest of standards having had many thousands spent to bring to its current condition. This is possibly the best early model Audi Quattro you will ever see, or have an opportunity to buy, just jaw dropping! There may be a few lower mileage cars out there but none of these have been kept to the standard of this exceptional car.

The exterior of this Quattro presents beautifully, finished in the best colour of Alpine White and all exterior trim is better than you would expect for a car over 33 years old and is as new. Underneath this Audi is equally as impressive, it has been detailed, cleaned and maintained in the same way as the exterior, having benefitted from many new original parts. The standard new exhaust sets off the stunning underside of this amazing car, one for the true collector.

Inside, this Quattro remains is fabulous condition. The sports seats are finished in their original patterned velour with matching door and roof panels. Both front and rear seats show little sign of wear and the cut-pile carpets are excellent. All instruments including night lights are all working perfectly and the car still has the original Blaupunkt radio/cassette player. The boot area is in pristine condition with beautiful carpet interior and an unused space saver wheel and tyre.

It comes as no surprise that the engine bay looks superb, everything retains a fresh appearance with no age-related wear. There is no corrosion to be found, with all rubbers, hoses, clips and plastics being replaced in May 2016. Having been totally rebuilt, serviced and detailed at a cost of over £3000 the engine bay is perfect and remains in excellent mechanical condition.

Genuine original 8 X 15” alloy wheels totally unmarked with Bridgestone 215/50 ZR15 tyres with again are like new with little wear. The car has been fitted with brand new genuine original Audi Quattro Brake calipers, discs hoses and pipes front and rear.

Registered new on the 20th April 1983, the last owner spent many thousands of pounds on genuine new Audi parts to bring the car to the stunning standard it is today. In the last 5 years the car has only covered a mere 500 miles. This is truly a wonderful car which has clearly been pampered throughout its life having been meticulously detailed and brought back to a level we have not seen in any Audi Quattro.
