Chevrolet C20 Crate 350 V8 1969

General description : 1969 Chevrolet C20 Long Bed Pickup With the second generation of Chevy C/K Pickups arriving in 1967 they came with a new name, the "Action Series."  Introduced into this series was a redesign but also the incorporation of some comforts and convenience into what was primarily trucks built for work previously.  While these are undoubtedly still capable of a hard days work, now you got a smoother suspension and more modern features.  This very clean Chevy C20 has a great look and has a ton of new components incorporated throughout the body on restoration.  Being a C20 designates it is a 3/4 ton variant versus the 1/2 ton C10.  It is a long bed and the body is in great shape.  It is painted in a light Bronze color that has a nice finish.  All of the chrome/stainless is in excellent shape with all new bumpers, grill, badges, side rails, mirrors and door handles.  It really is a great looking pickup that can be shown on the weekends but do work throughout the week.  So if you want something classic but also functional, a classic truck like this is a great option.  The bed has been rhinolined to keep it protected no matter what you toss in the back and it also has an added trailer hitch should you need to add a bit of hauling space.  All of the glass is in good condition and this model comes with the sliding rear window.  The truck rides on nicely shining Mag wheels and has new Corsa Highway Terrain tires.  Under the hood everything you see is brand new.  It has a fresh crate 350 V8 motor that runs great.  It has been dressed up with chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner plus is topped off with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake.  The motor is paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission that transfers power back to the 10 bolt positraction rear end.  The truck is a great driver and with power brakes, power steering and air conditioning it is very comfortable behind the wheel.    The interior features a bench seat done in Dark Brown leather with Brown carpeting.  It is in good condition and the seat utilizes retractable lap belts.  A new dash pad was added and most of the dash has been kept very stock.  It does have a new gauge PC board, new gauge lenses, and a new gash gauge.  The stereo is a AM/FM/Cassette player which sounds good through the kick panel speakers.  The AC controls are factory but utilizes the Vintage AC aftermarket system.  One customization to the inside was the addition of a chrome tilt steering column topped off with a Grant steering wheel.  All new weatherstripping was added during the build so the doors/windows all seal up nicely.  This is a nice solid pickup that is ready to go.  It is a nice combination of functionality with classic looks.  Trucks of this vintage are pretty popular and this one will be finding a new home for a very reasonable price.  This truck has been SOLD!
