General description : Wir präsentieren Ihnen dieses Coupé voller Stolz, weil es auch für uns kaum mehr eine zweite Chance zur Wiederholung eines vergleichbaren Angebotes geben wird. Den Originalzustand gibt es nur solange, bis er jeder noch so kleinen Reparatur oder Restaurierung geopfert wurde. Danach ist er für immer verloren.
Erstauslieferung 10/80. Erste Hand im ersten Original-Brief, im Erstlack*, rostfreier und unverfälschter Originalzustand mit matching Numbers Motor, Schaltgetriebe, Hinterachse, Interieur, Teppich und sämtlichen weiteren Details bis auf die nachgerüsteten Barock-Alufelgen.
Das originale Scheckheft wurde bis 89.ooo km von dem immer gleichen MB-Service-Betrieb (Vertragshändler) geführt, der den Wagen auch als Neufahrzeug an den Erstbesitzer auslieferte. Ein 38 Jahre alter, automobiler Zeitzeuge in unwiederbringlichem Original-Topzustand, der so kaum mehr am Markt verfügbar sein wird.
Natürlich wird dieser Klassiker von uns mit aktuell durchgeführter Voll-Inspektion, Wechsel aller Betriebsstoffe, neuen Reifen und Bremsen samt aktuell durchgeführter Haupt-Untersuchung, H-Gutachten und AU ausgeliefert.
Bevor uns nun irgendein altgedientes Mitglied des 107er-Coupe-Freunde-Clubs wegen des Heckspoilers in den Senkel stellt und „das war aber beim 280er nicht original“ keift: Stimmt. Man konnte sich diese Lippe aber auch als 280er-Besteller wünschen und bekam sie ab Werk mit Eintragung in den Kfz.-Brief montiert ab dem Tag der Erstzulassung (so geschehen bei unserem SLC). Wir erlauben uns also die Kühnheit, diese Aufrüstung ab Werk als „original“ zu bezeichnen.
Sie dürfen gerne anderer Meinung sein. Wir bleiben dennoch bei unserer Sicht der Dinge und hoffen, genügend Gesprächsstoff für den nächsten Clubabend geliefert zu haben.
Mit mindestens 107 besten Empfehlungen, denn es kann nicht oft genug wiederholt werden: das Original gibt’s nur einmal.
