Maserati Sebring 3500GTi Series I 1963

Allmän beskrivning : 1963 Maserati Sebring 3500GTi Series IThis 1963 Maserati Series I Sebring is a beautiful original matching numbers example and an excellent driver. Highly attractive silver with red leather interior. It's one of just 348 Series I Sebrings produced and is offered with the desirable ZF 5-Speed Manual Gearbox. Coachwork by Vignale and with Lucas fuel injection. It runs and drives great. The paint and chrome are very presentable and the striking red interior wears a stunning patina. A solid and straight driver that represents an excellent value in the classic sports car market. Accompanied by its tool roll, jack, and spare, as well as documentation. First offered in 1962 as a replacement for the flagship Maserati 3500 GTi, the Maserati Sebring is an elegant expression of mid-20th century Italian design. Named in recognition of the storied Bolognese manufacturer™s 1957 triumph at the 12 Hours of Sebring, the Sebring was designed to take full advantage of the open expanses and the smooth, modern freeway system of the U.S. market. Powering the car is a 3,485-cubic-centimeter, 235-horsepower inline six-cylinder engine shared with the 3500 GTi. The Sebring could accelerate to 60 mph in approximately 8.5 seconds and could achieve a top speed approaching 140 mph. Despite its impressive performance, the Sebring 3500 GTi is not a lightweight sports car in the classical sense; it is clearly a luxurious grand touring car with a comfortable and well-appointed 2+2 interior. Underlying the steel body and giving it strength was an all-new tubular steel frame, which also supported the independent dual wishbone front suspension, semi-elliptical rear leaf springs, and four-wheel disc brakes. Series I examples of the Sebring remain a rare, highly prized Maserati model, with just 348 built from 1962 to 1965. As one of the most elegant and understated Grand Touring cars of the 1960s, the Maserati Sebring offered here is the much sought after Series I model fitted with the ultra-desirable five-speed ZF gearbox. The car is sure to draw a crowd and would be an absolute blast to enjoy any number of driving events. This extremely collectible and desirable Series I Sebring is not to be overlooked. Coachwork by Vignale3,485 CC DOHC Inline 6-Cylinder EngineLucas Mechanical Fuel Injection235 bhp at 5,500rpm5-Speed Manual ZF TransmissionIndependent Front Suspension - Live Rear Axle4-Wheel Disc BrakesOne of Only 348 Series I Sebrings producedMatching Numbers ExampleDesirable ZF 5-Speed Manual GearboxGreat Candidate for Tours and Classic RalliesGiovanni Michelotti-Designed Coachwork by VignaleStriking presentation, finished in Silver over Red LeatherFuel-injected six-cylinder backed by a ZF five-speed manualAccompanied by its tool roll, jack, and sparePrice: $139,500

Produktionsantal:

Ghibli (1967-1973): Cirka 1 170 enheter.
Bora (1971-1978): Ungefär 524 enheter.
Merak (1972-1983): Cirka 1 830 enheter.
